Hitendra Chaturvedi

Professor of Practice
TEMPE Campus

Hitendra comes to us after a successful exit from a pioneering reverse logistics start-up in India called GreenDust which he founded where he raised multi-million venture funds from the likes of Kliener Perkins Caufield and Bauer and built a lasting legacy in India.

A computer engineer from IIT Roorkee with an MS and MBA from US, Hitendra started his career in 1995 working as a consultant working for Ernst & Young and then for A.T. Kearney.  Consulting acted as a catalyst to Hitendra’s first start-up exposure in reverse logistics through an Austin Venture funded company called Newgistics.  Family reasons dictated a move to Seattle and Microsoft where Hitendra worked in Competitive Strategy, Marketing, and OEM supply chain.

Hitendra sits on advisory committees of many start-ups and incubators, guest speaks at numerous universities, and has been widely covered in press and media as a subject matter expert on global supply chain strategy, green/sustainability in supply chain, digitizing traditional supply chains, and reverse logistics.

Hitendra believes that his teaching philosophy is molded in a big part by his zest of life and continuous learning which is demonstrated in the fact that in this life he has found time to fly airplanes and learn how to make wine, paint, scuba dive, and travel 75 countries…and most importantly, doting father to two beautiful daughters, and a loving husband to his beautiful wife.
