The Department of Finance supports a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in finance and a PhD in finance. In addition, the department offers concentrations and core and elective courses in other W. P. Carey MBA programs; the Master of Real Estate Development, and the undergraduate minor in real estate.

George Aragon's research interests include the structure, efficiency and risk management practices of the financial services industry, including hedge funds and mutual funds.
Mathew Avrhami is commercial real estate entrepreneur with a passion for promoting community economic growth.
Ilona Babenko’s research and teaching interests are in compensation design, insider trading and information economics, corporate financing and payout policies, real options, and political activism of corporations.
Barnett's research interests include asset pricing, macroeconomics, climate change and energy economics.
Thomas Bates has taught corporate finance to students at the undergraduate, MBA, EMBA, and doctoral levels.
Hendrik Bessembinder's research focuses on the design and regulation of financial markets, including stock, foreign exchange, fixed income, futures, and energy markets.
Sreedhar Bharath is the Richard C Kraemer Professor of Finance. He joined the W. P. Carey School of Business in 2010 .
Professor Bharath's research interests focus on Corporate Finance, Banking and Credit Risk.
Anand K. Bhattacharya is a Professor of Finance Practice in the Department of Finance , W.P. Carey School of Business and is the faculty director for the MS Finance program.
