Accelerated Degree Programs

Arizona State University works with its leading international partner universities to offer International Accelerated Degree Programs (IADPs).

IADPs are created in a variety of formats, most often combining time at a student’s home university with time at ASU. For example, the 3+1+1 format indicates that a student completes the first three years of an undergraduate program at their home university, takes advanced courses at ASU in the fourth year of study, and remains at ASU for a fifth year to complete their master’s degree. At the end of a 3+1+1 IADP, a student will have earned a bachelor’s degree from their home university, and a master’s degree from ASU.

There are a number of master’s degrees within the W. P. Carey School of Business approved for IADPs, providing a new generation of global leaders unique opportunities to learn the latest innovation in business disciplines at one of the most engaged, vibrant universities in America.

IADP contracts are approved by ASU’s General Council, facilitated by the Office of International Initiatives and ASU deans, and finalized by the signature of the ASU provost.
