Biography

Bart Hobijn is an applied macroeconomist who worked for 15 years in the economic research departments of the Federal Reserve Banks of San Fransisco and New York. His research is focused on inflation, unemployment, and economic growth. He also taught classes at City University of New York; New York University; VU University Amsterdam in the Netherlands; and the University of California, Berkeley.

His nearly 30 academic articles have appeared in a range of publications, including the Journal of Monetary EconomicsAmerican Economic Review, and the Quarterly Journal of Economics.
