Bart Hobijn is an applied macroeconomist who worked for 15 years in the economic research departments of the Federal Reserve Banks of San Fransisco and New York. His research is focused on inflation, unemployment, and economic growth. He also taught classes at City University of New York; New York University; VU University Amsterdam in the Netherlands; and the University of California, Berkeley.
His research has been published in several of the leading academic journals in economics, including the American Economic Review, Quarterly Journal of Economics, and Journal of Monetary Economics. He has more than 60 publications and more than 5000 citations on Google Scholar.
