Anthony Evans is a senior researcher for the L. William Seidman Research Institute at Arizona State University. His research and consulting interests lie within the areas of sport and leisure, entertainment marketing, public transport, and energy.
Prior to joining the institute in May 2010, Evans held a number of senior UK and European marketing roles in the private sector, including significant management experience in the entertainment world, leading and implementing European marketing strategies for such well-known brands as Thomas the Tank Engine, Barney, Bob the Builder, and Guinness World Records. He is also a former commercial manager at Bangor City Football Club in the League of Wales.
Evans received a BA in Philosophy from Kings College London, an MA in Sociology of Sport from the University of Leicester, and a Marketing PhD from the University of Sheffield.
