Economic Club of Phoenix

About us

The Economic Club of Phoenix (ECP) was founded in January 1985 by the Dean's Council, a group of prominent business executives, in conjunction with Arizona State University's W. P. Carey School of Business. The club is designed to enhance discussion of economic and business issues among academic, business, labor and public sectors in the Phoenix metropolitan area.

ECP represents a "who's who" of business leadership, the visionary leaders and voices of the top businesses and organizations in the Phoenix area and beyond.

Attracting such industry headliners as Alan Mulally, Herb Kelleher, Meg Whitman, Michael Dell, J.W. Marriott, Sally Ride, Milton Friedman, Steve Forbes and Craig Barrett and Zion Armstrong, the Economic Club's monthly events have become part of the on-going business dialogue for the Southwest region's economy.
