Professor Rykaczewski's research is focused on international accounting issues. She examines the effects of regulatory environment and incentives on firms' financial reporting behavior.
Dr. Janet Samuels examines the effects of performance measures (e.g. goals or targets) and incentives on effort and performance of individuals as well as how performance measure design influences evaluations.
Melissa Samuelson’s research focuses on incorporating consideration of culture and personal values in professional decision-making and communication.
David Shields has served as a college vice president and as a business school dean, as well as a professor of accounting.
Roger White's research interests are centered on fraud, incentives, regulation, and communication in markets.
Professor Stacey Whitecotton teaches managerial accounting and ethics. She is the author of a managerial accounting textbook. Her research examines the role of ethics, incentives and decision aids in accounting.
Mindy Wolfe's research interests include the determinants and consequences of managers' financial reporting strategies, the capital markets and firm information environments.
Jordan Lowe joined ASU in 2003 as a professor of accountancy in the W. P. Carey School of Business.
Eldar Maksymov is a Deloitte audit alum (Washington, D. C.). He has a PhD in Accounting from Cornell University and has been a faculty member at ASU since 2014.
Michal Matejka’s research interests lie in the area of performance target setting and executive compensation, decentralization, and organizational design.
Perseus Munshijoined the ASU faculty in 2001. He is a board member of the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants.
