Biography

Dr. Collin Sellman is on the faculty in the Department of Information Systems and teaches courses related to big data, data science, and data based decision making in the graduate and MBA programs.

He is also the CEO and principal investigator at Fireline Science LLC which is a boutique firm focused on data science-based product innovations and consulting.

Dr. Sellman was most recently the head of Learning Analytics and Data Science for the U.S. Learning Services division at Pearson, Inc.. Prior to Pearson, Collin led product management and development teams in the Internet infrastructure industry at !NTERPRISE Networking Services, Qwest Communications International, One2One UK, and Level 3 Communications.  

He has an MBA and Ph.D. from Arizona State University and continues to be active in research related to innovation, product development, and data science.
