Biography

Ignacio Molina is a lecturer and research associate with the National Food and Agricultural Policy Project. His current research interests include perishable logistics, food safety, bioterrorism, market analysis for fruits and vegetables. He holds a master's degree in economics and a bachelor's degree in agronomy, both from New Mexico State University. Additionally, he teaches Computer Information Systems with emphasis in agribusiness.

Research Interests

Ignacio is in charge of mantaining, solving and restimating 25 economic models for fruit, vegetables and melons under NFAPP (http://nfapp.poly.asu.edu/). Additional interest include produce logistics between Mexico, Chile and U.S., Environmental Economics, Economics and Logistics of the Maquiladora Industry along the Mexico-U.S. and Food Safety.
