Sangho Chae is  a doctoral candidate in Supply Chain Management at W. P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University. His dissertation studies focus on theorizing buying firms' supply chain-level make-buy decisions. Specifically, he tries to understand both the drivers and performance implications of buying firms' involvement in their suppliers' sourcing decisions. He won the top award of the 2016 ISM Dissertation Grant with his dissertation proposal. 

Before joining his doctoral program, he worked as a junior manager in Supply Chain Management for the Italian subsidiary of Samsung Electronics. He holds an M.Sc. in Operations Management from Manchester Business School at the University of Manchester and a B.B.A. from Yonsei School of Business at Yonsei University.
