Biography

Bruce Gilmore joined the W. P. Carey School of Business as a professor of practice in supply chain management in 2016. At the end of 2017, he joined the staff of Mayo Clinic where he is the Southwest Region Director of Supply Chain Management. As a result of this change, Bruce transitioned to a faculty associate position and he will continue to teach part-time for the W.P. Carey School of Business.

Gilmore has more than 30 years of experience leading and managing supply chain organizations for Fortune 500 companies. His expertise lies in the development of strategic procurement and global supply chain operations. Additionally, he has worked at the enterprise-level of organizational design, operational leadership, and organizational effectiveness.

He currently serves as an Executive Connections coach and mentor for ASU full-time M.B.A. students. Previously, he served as a director in the Network for Value Chain Excellence at W. P. Carey. Before joining W. P. Carey, Professor Gilmore was a director of global supply chain management for Intel Corporation.
