Michael Savilo

"You can build global awareness and connections in the program by getting to know your cohort, studying abroad, and going to W. P. Carey events.

I went on two global trips to Prague and Singapore, which provided exposure to global companies and ways of doing business. At McCord Hall, they have a lot of guest speakers who show how even local businesses operate on a much larger scale."

Life at W. P. Carey

During your first year, Evening MBA students take core classes together as a group. This lock-step cohort structure — combined with small classes — enables you to get to know your classmates and form a tight-knit community.

Go directly from discussing your work challenges with classmates and faculty to implementing shared insights and solutions on the job. You’ll quickly level up in your career, with the support of driven peers.

Designed for working professionals, the Evening MBA allows you to earn your MBA while balancing career and life obligations. You'll only have to be on campus once or twice a week for classes. This convenient schedule lets you maintain a full-time job, learn valuable skills, and take advantage of networking opportunities in the metro Phoenix area.

Evening MBA students interested in global travel and work can participate in an international elective. We partner with universities worldwide to offer practical experiences abroad. You'll deepen your understanding of global business practices and other cultures while making meaningful connections.

Your learning unfolds in the state-of-the-art McCord Hall, which features innovative team rooms as well as student lounges where you can take a break. McCord Hall is located near the Memorial Union at ASU, considered the living room of campus, with a wide range of dining options and student support offices.

Also close by is the Sun Devil Fitness Complex. The SDFC is much more than just a workout facility, offering programs and services to help you stay active both inside and outside of the complex.

The ASU Tempe campus is close to all the action in metro Phoenix — culture, sports, shopping, and entertainment. With 300 days of sunshine a year, Phoenix is just a few hours from world-class skiing, the Grand Canyon, and more.

Your W. P. Carey experience begins with program orientation prior to the start of your program. You'll meet your fellow students and teammates, as well as W. P. Carey faculty and staff, preparing you for a seamless start to graduate school.

Focus on your studies while we focus on the student experience. Our dedicated team will help you with the resources you need to be successful in the classroom through academic advising, course enrollment, and navigating the policy and process of being a student. We also work closely with you and your peers to host events and opportunities to keep you connected and engaged throughout.
