Take the Lead
To ensure you have a valuable learning experience, your EMBA classmates are experienced professionals, from diverse backgrounds and industries, who share our values of excellence and integrity and are motivated to rethink the nature of business.
Each Executive MBA student is carefully selected on the basis of their intellectual abilities and the experiential contribution they bring to the program. While we do not have specific requirements, we recommend that applicants have:
- 10+ years of work experience
- 5+ years in management
- A college degree or equivalent
GMAT scores are preferred, although the GRE is accepted. The GMAT institutional code for the W. P. Carey Executive MBA is 0GZ-1R-75.
EMBA applicants currently or previously holding senior level roles, typically with a minimum of 12 years full-time work experience, at least eight of which have involved managing teams, budgets and complex projects, may be exempted from the GMAT requirement. Applicants who believe they should be granted a GMAT exemption based on previous professional or academic experience are encouraged to submit the optional essay along with the completed EMBA application.
Mail all official university transcripts to the ASU Office of Graduate Education, or request that your original institution submit them directly. A Document Reference Number can be included on each transcript for authentication purposes.
