MS-ISM program overview

As technology becomes more interconnected across functions and skills, the ability to understand and interpret technological solutions to business problems — and the leadership required to bring about those solutions — are not merely desired attributes. They are required skills for anyone in the technology space.

To accommodate the busy schedules of working professionals, W. P. Carey MS-ISM classes are held two nights a week on ASU’s Tempe campus.

Merit scholarships are available to qualified students, helping you reduce the financial burden of returning to school.

Career outcomes

With information security analysts and computer and information systems careers expected to grow faster or much faster than average, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, demand for MS-ISM graduates will be strong. More than 75,000 new jobs in these fields are projected by 2026.

Potential careers for MS-ISM graduates include chief intelligence officer, senior data analyst, business systems analyst, and project manager. The leadership skills acquired through this program will prepare students to lead in a wide range of industries, including financial services, health care, marketing, and technology.

STEM-designated program

The W. P. Carey MS-ISM program has been designated by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency within the Department of Homeland Security as a STEM eligible degree program (CIP code 52.1301).
