This focus on evolving our programs and collaboration with international partner schools make W. P. Carey degrees applicable and transferable anywhere in the world.

General Collaboration Agreements

General Collaboration Agreements between Arizona State University and universities around the world allow us to collaborate in meaningful, innovative, and sustainable ways. Under the umbrella of these university-wide agreements, partner programs are developed for providing students with exciting new opportunities and perspectives; faculty and researchers deepen their understanding through information exchanges; and schools, colleges and institutes engage with each other to build lasting pathways to greater understanding.

General Collaboration Agreements are approved by ASU’s General Council, facilitated by the Office of Global Academic Initiatives, and finalized with the signature of the ASU Provost.

International Academic Partnerships

Previously known as IADP agreements, the W. P. Carey School of Business works with its leading international partner universities to offer International Academic Partnerships.

International Academic Partnerships are created in a variety of formats, most often combining time at a student’s home university with time at ASU:

  • International Academic Partnership (3+1+1) — a student will earn a bachelor’s degree from their home university and a master’s degree from ASU.
  • International Dual Degree Undergraduate Program (2+2) — a student will earn separate bachelor’s degrees from their home university and from ASU.
  • International Dual Degree Graduate Program (1+1) — a student will earn a master’s degree from their home university and a specialized master’s degree from ASU.

There are a number of master’s degrees within the W. P. Carey School of Business approved for International Academic Partnerships, providing a new generation of global leaders unique opportunities to learn the latest innovation in business disciplines at one of the most engaged, vibrant universities in America.

Partnership contracts are approved by ASU’s General Council, facilitated by the Office of Global Academic Initiatives and ASU deans, and finalized by the signature of the ASU provost.
