The AZNext Applied Business Data Analytics Certificate consists of 6 required courses (18 credit hours) with a flexible course sequence. We recommended that students start with CIS 105 and end with CIS 405. In these 100% online courses, you'll explore the applications and techniques used to streamline business processes and decision-making with data.
- CIS 105: Computer Applications and Information Technology (CS), 3 credits
- CIS 308: Advanced Excel in Business, 3 credits
- CIS 309: Business Process Management, 3 credits
- CIS 310: Business Data Visualization, 3 credits
- CIS 313: Location Analytics for Business or CIS 394: Special Topics, 3 credits
- CIS 405: Business Intelligence, 3 credits
Who is this program for?
This program is ideal for undergraduate students and working professionals interested in an industry-recognized data analytics certification and pursuing a bachelor's or higher-level degree. No previous experience is necessary for this certification. However, a base-level understanding of spreadsheets and other tools would be beneficial.
As part of ASU's Universal Learner program, AZNext participants who complete their no-cost certification program will have the option to pay a fee to convert their certificate to college credits that stack directly into degree programs within the W. P. Carey School of Business.
