Program details
The AZNext AWS Cloud Computing Certificate consists of three ASU Universal Learner courses (9 credit hours) that leverage the AWS Cloud Computing Mastery Certificate. These courses are 100% online and include hands-on labs, knowledge activities, and real-world case studies. We recommended that participants take the courses in order, starting with CIS 194, to achieve a strong foundation in cloud computing.
- CIS 194: Online Cloud Foundations, 3 credits
- CIS 394: Online Cloud Architecture, 3 credits
- CIS 394: Online Cloud Analytics, 3 credits
Who is this program for?
This program is ideal for undergraduate or graduate students and working professionals interested in an industry-recognized cloud computing certification and pursuing a bachelor's or higher-level degree. Regardless of technical background, we welcome all to apply.
As part of ASU's Universal Learner program, AZNext participants who complete their no-cost certification program will have the option to pay a fee to convert their certificate to college credits that stack directly into degree programs within the W. P. Carey School of Business.

With guidance from experts, you'll gain an understanding of how the cloud has shaped modern businesses and the knowledge needed to pass the AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification exam and for your long-term technology career.
