Enroll in the no-cost AZNext Business Analysis Fundamentals Certificate program to pass the IIBA Entry Certificate in Business Analysis exam and become an IT business analyst.

Participants in this program will learn the core knowledge needed for an industry-validated credential exam by the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA). You'll elevate your career potential by passing the IIBA Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA) exam. The program consists of 6 weeks of faculty-facilitated instruction with readings, exercises, and required virtual meetings. Participants will contextualize what they are learning through relevant engagements with working business professionals.
Industry professionals will also serve as guest speakers for six virtual lectures held in the evenings, covering the following topics:

The AZNext business analysis certification program is accessible to anyone with an undergraduate degree in any discipline and those in the senior year of their undergraduate degree program.

What will I learn?
This AZNext program prepares you for the IIBA ECBA exam. Graduates have an in-depth understanding of business processes and technology systems and how IT business analysts serve as liaisons between business units and technology teams, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to pass the ECBA and launch their business analysis careers.

- Fundamentals of business analysis from the IT lifecycle to requirements gathering
- Fundamentals of project management, including Agile, Scrum, and Kanban tools and concepts
- Business modeling tools and techniques from spreadsheet modeling to data visualization

An IT business analyst bridges an organization's technical and business sides to design, develop, and deploy digital technologies for business goals. The IIBA ECBA certificate credential is required by many employers seeking to fulfill IT Business Analyst roles within their organizations. Business analysts make $87,660 on average, and the employment rate is expected to grow 31 percent or more over the next decade.
AZNext covers ECBA exam costs for our program participants. Successful graduates who have passed the ECBA exams will obtain an IIBA Entry Certificate in Business Analysis and receive access to the AZNext network of industry partners for potential job placement.
