Comprehensive preparation
Regardless of your undergraduate background — whether you have a degree in business, engineering, or English — our Pathway Program equips you with the foundational knowledge needed to enroll in and successfully complete either the Master of Accountancy and Data Analytics (MACC) or the Master of Taxation and Data Analytics (MTax) program.
The Pathway Program prepares non-accounting majors with the essential skills and knowledge required to excel in the MACC or MTax program.
Four key courses
The Pathway covers four foundational courses, including Uses of Accounting Information I (ACC 231), External Reporting I (ACC 340), External Reporting II (ACC 440), and either Principles of Auditing (ACC 450) for the MACC program or Taxes and Business Decisions (ACC 430) for the MTax program.
Two ways to complete the pathway
You can either complete all four courses for academic credit (in-person or online), or complete all the requirements in a non-credit, online bootcamp that allows you to seamlessly transition into the MACC or MTax program. Our MACC/MTax Bootcamp includes three, custom-designed courses that allow you to complete program prerequisites 100% online and in a single summer.
