Mission

The DBA in supply chain management aspires to develop thought leaders who are prepared to solve the world’s most pressing supply chain issues. Your learning unfolds through innovative coursework, participation in cutting-edge research, and co-curricular experiences led by world-class faculty and supply chain experts. Our DBA students will be prepared for roles in senior management, consulting and educational institutions to strategically tackle the most relevant and significant supply chain related problems.

Program structure

The W. P. Carey DBA in supply chain management is a three-year program with a unique hybrid format that combines on-campus and online learning, making advanced education accessible for busy professionals. Covering key areas like logistics management, operations management, and supply management, this program allows you to pursue doctoral-level study without leaving your job.

Each semester, spend one immersive week on campus for core courses and dissertation work, with the remaining coursework completed online. In the first two years, you’ll engage in foundational supply chain management theory and research methods, while working closely with your advisors on dissertation proposals. Your third year will be dedicated to focused dissertation research and development, also guided by expert advisors.
