Carey student engagement team provides many interesting and engaging community-building activities for you to explore throughout the year. Taking advantage of these opportunities will help you develop great leadership, networking, and professional skills, and make your years at ASU even more meaningful.
Each semester, the W. P. Carey School of Business welcomes many new students to campus at the ASU New Student Experience. In just one day, you’ll meet W. P. Carey students, faculty, and staff, learn about W. P. Carey resources, and select and enroll in your first-semester classes.
Held the second week of each semester on the Dean’s Patio, Involvement Week is your chance to explore 35+ business clubs and organizations. It’s a can’t-miss event for new students, and makes it easy to find out about groups to join, interact with current members and representatives, and learn how to participate in meetings.
Dine with Deans offers students an opportunity to get to know W. P. Carey deans, and discuss their experience at the W. P. Carey School over a relaxed lunch. Three to four of these lunches are hosted each semester.
The Executive Luncheon Series brings business leaders to campus several times throughout the academic year, to talk to students in a casual, relaxed environment. It’s a great opportunity to ask questions and discuss current business topics with speakers from a variety of well-known brands and industries.
A perfect introduction to your new community, attending W. P. Carey welcome events help incoming students create meaningful connections while learning about the business school. Have fun and meet new friends before the start of the school year.
Seasonal recruiting events hosted by the W. P. Carey Career Services Center are an exceptional source of internship and full-time employment offers.
Each fall, Family Weekend welcomes families to attend class with their student, meet ASU faculty and staff, cheer for the Sun Devils at a home football game, and enjoy a luncheon and other activities hosted by the W. P. Carey School.
Homecoming includes a full week of traditions and events in the fall semester. Be sure to hike “A” Mountain for the lantern walk, help build a float for the parade, cheer the Sun Devils to victory, and enjoy the games and activities for business students at W. P. Carey Game Day.
