Pei-yu (Sharon) Chen
Chair and Professor, Department of Information Systems
Dr. Pei-yu Sharon Chen, Red Avenue Foundation Professor and Chair of the Department of Information Systems at Arizona State University’s W. P. Carey School of Business, is a world-renowned researcher and Distinguished Fellow of INFORMS-Information Systems Society. She is the founding director of the Center for AI and Data Analytics (AIDA) for Business and Society and holds a PhD from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.
Her work, published in top journals such as Management Science and MIS Quarterly, has influenced industries including E-commerce, Healthcare, and Retailing. Dr. Chen’s recent research focuses on responsible AI innovation and its societal impact. She serves as Senior Editor for Information Systems Research and frequently speaks at premier conferences and universities.
