Alumni reunions
Reunite, reminisce, and celebrate your W. P. Carey experience. Whether it’s been five years or fifty, we’ll help you bring your alumni group back together. We’ll provide the tools and resources you need to make planning a reunion simple, meaningful and memorable.
Support for your alumni reunion
We’re thrilled that you’re interested in reconnecting with your classmates! To support your efforts, the W. P. Carey School can send an initial communication to all members of your graduating class. This message will include event details (if available) and instructions on how classmates can get involved, including the organizing alum’s contact information.
To help us best support your reunion planning, we kindly ask that you keep us informed on the following:
- How you're promoting the reunion; social media is encouraged, along with any email responders you hear from.
- A running guest list of anticipated attendees.
- An estimated headcount at least two weeks before the event to assist with food and beverage planning.
- If you’d like name tags to be provided, a final list of attendees at least three days prior to the event.
- Your preferred event date, coordinated with the Office of Advancement’s Alumni Engagement team and scheduled at least 16 weeks in advance.
Hosting a reception on campus
If you would like to include an on-campus reception as part of your reunion, the W. P. Carey alumni office can reserve space for a two-hour evening reception in the McCord Hall Oasis for reunion groups of 35 or more. Located on the 4th floor of McCord Hall on Arizona State University's Tempe campus, the Oasis is recommended for Friday evening reunions. Other weeknights may also be available.
Food, drink and decor
The W. P. Carey School will contribute appetizers and an open bar (beer, wine, soft drinks) for the duration of the reception, which can be set with cocktail tables as well as seated rounds — and decorated with plenty of ASU and W. P. Carey swag items.
Nametags are available upon request. If you would like us to print nametags for your group, please provide the list of attendees at least three days prior to the event.
Class gifts
If your class is interested in making a class gift, charitable gifts of any amount are always welcome and appreciated. Please let us know if this is something you would like to discuss, so we can share the ways in which your gift can further the mission of the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
