Supporting alumni through career transitions
When you joined the W. P. Carey School of Business as a student, you did so knowing that we would be partners for life. We are committed to being a place Where Business is Personal® — we care about you and what you’re going through. We will always be here to support you through unexpected job loss, career transitions, and various life milestones that impact you along the way. If you are an alum in a time of transition, please explore the resources gathered here, and feel free to reach out to our alumni team directly.
Career services from W. P. Carey and ASU
Alumni who are seeking support through a career or job change have several tools available through the school, including career coaching, ongoing career training, free educational programs, and assistance to make graduate school more attainable.
Collaborate with a business career coach
Throughout your career, we’re still here. “Our goal is to support alumni individually, knowing that each person has different needs and goals,” says Joseph Kimes, executive director of the W. P. Carey Career Services Center.
One-on-one career coaching and on-demand career resources are just two of the lifelong benefits available to you as a W. P. Carey graduate. Alumni who are in a period of career transition are encouraged to schedule an appointment or reach out for more information.
Attend a Career 4 Workshop from W. P. Carey
A signature event series for W. P. Carey alumni, Career 4 Workshops are hosted by the W. P. Carey Career Services Center. Attend all of the sessions or pick and choose the topics that interest you most — Career Blueprint, Personal Brand, Narrative, and Networking. Events are repeated on a rolling basis annually. Visit our alumni calendar to register for future events.
