Accounting Career Awareness Program

The Accounting Career Awareness Program (ACAP) is an innovative week-long summer residency program designed for underrepresented high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors.  You’ll build your understanding of accounting and discover new career and networking opportunities, including involvement with the National Association of Black Accountants.

ACAP dates for the summer 2017 session are yet to be determined. Check back in November for an update.

About ASU’s West Campus

With new facilities, including a new recreation complex, dining center, and residence halls, ASU’s West campus delivers all the resources of a major university while feeling like a smaller college. Located near important Valley industries, the West campus is an ideal spot to connect with recruiters, especially in the fields of supply chain management and logistics. The campus is just 20 minutes from downtown Phoenix, and 30 minutes from ASU’s Tempe campus.

The W. P. Carey School offers many programs at the West campus, including undergraduate business degrees in accountancy, communication, global logistics management, management, Spanish language and culture, statistics, and sustainability.

Application Deadline

The application link and deadline for the summer 2017 session of the ACAP program will be available in November 2016.

Program Cost

Students selected for ACAP receive free tuition, room and board, books, materials, corporate tours, and mentoring.
