All class sessions are held in the beautiful MBA Suite in McCord Hall at the W. P. Carey School of Business on ASU's Tempe Campus in Downtown Tempe, Arizona. Hotel Information

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Residence Inn Tempe Downtown/University for Services Leadership Institute attendees. This beautiful hotel offers many amenities and a convenient location in the heart of downtown. The hotel, located at 510 South Forest Avenue in Tempe, offers one- and two-bedroom suites with separate living, working and sleeping areas as well as fully equipped kitchens with refrigerators, stovetops, ovens and microwaves. Complimentary high-speed wireless Internet is provided throughout the hotel. Each guest room features a spacious work desk, ergonomic chair, luxurious Marriott bedding and a flat-screen TV with a variety of premium movie channels. The hotel provides a grocery complimentary delivery service and free hot breakfast plus a 24-hour state-of-the-art fitness center and outdoor pool. Services Leadership Institute Hotel Room Rate Per Night: $209.00, Single or Double
Attendees are responsible for booking their own rooms. To book your room, call 480-967-2300 on or before Thursday, March 03, 2016. You will need to reference the "Arizona State University – Center for Services Leadership Group" to qualify for the reduced rate. Self-parking is available at the hotel for an additional fee of $10 per car, per night.

Meals and Networking Events

Refreshments will be served before class and at all the breaks. A networking lunch will be held Tuesday and Wednesdays on the ASU campus. On Monday night there will be a reception at the McCord Hall Oasis and on Tuesday night we will host an elegant reception at the beautiful Desert Botanical Gardens, which will feature a new exibit by the British artist Bruce Munro, “Bruce Munro: Sonoran Light”.


The average March high temperature is 84 degrees, but the evenings and early mornings can be quite cool. Business casual dress is encouraged for all events. Because the temperature in the classroom can vary, we suggest you dress in layers. The Tuesday evening dinner will be outside and will involve a short walk across a gravel pathway to reach the venue. You may wish to walk around the grounds as well, so please wear comfortable clothes and footwear to this event.

Timeline for Travel

The Institute begins Monday, March 21 promptly at 1:00 p.m. and ends Wednesday, March 23 1 at approximately 5:00 p.m The classroom will open at 12:30 p.m. on Monday and light refreshments will be available. The course runs from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday. We will have a networking reception Monday night and dinner on Tuesday night.

If your plans change and you are unable to attend, the following options are available for your convenience:

Registrations cancelled any time prior to Friday, March 4, 2016 are not subject to any fees. Cancellations received after this date and up to the start of the program are subject to a $300 administrative service charge. Cancellations cannot be made after the start of the program.
