Student Solutions: Student Teams for Entrepreneurship Projects (STEP)
Are you exploring a new market for your product or service? Need help developing an innovative business model and drafting a business plan? Have you identified a new venture, product, or service and need to explore market feasibility? The W. P. Carey STEP program is designed to support businesses just like yours through our Student Solutions initiative, matching teams of students in multiple disciplines with companies facing a wide range of opportunities and challenges. As a school whose programs are consistently ranked in the top 30 by the Wall Street Journal, U.S. News and World Report and the Financial Times, our students thrive with these challenges.
The Center for Entrepreneurship participates in the Student Solutions initiative through our STEP program, Student Teams for Entrepreneurship Projects. STEP is our gateway to providing hands-on learning opportunities for our students, resulting in meaningful results for your venture. The program provides a team of students for a semester-long project that can provide insight for your venture, while students earn course credit and learn through an engaging, applied project. Our main areas of focus are:
- Strategy and Business Model Innovation
- Business Plan Development
- New Product or Service Assessment
