I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Marketing at Arizona State Universitys W.P. Carey School of Business. I expect to graduate in May 2016. I also have an MBA with a focus in Marketing from Arizona State University.

My main research interests revolve around how consumers respond to personal deficits and psychological self-threats and the pro-social implications of understanding this behavior. My teaching interests include (but are not limited to) introductory marketing, marketing strategy, consumer behavior, marketing research, services marketing, and B2B marketing.

My relevant work experience includes six years working for Lockheed Martin Inc. as a Buyer and Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer.

I am originally from El Paso, TX, but have also lived in California, Washington, and Spain.

I enjoy working in my yard, watching basketball and soccer, and taking care of my three-year old daughter.
