Message from the Dean

Global markets are expanding rapidly. New doors are opening for multinational firms. Technology is changing the way we do business. And no market in the world has more potential than China.

China is destined to be an economic powerhouse for decades. With its entry into the World Trade Organization, China must develop a sound financial infrastructure in the same way that new buildings need a strong and secure foundation. The opportunity for growth is tremendous among state-owned enterprises in the financial services sector and organizations seeking investments and trading opportunities.

To turn opportunity into reality, Chinese firms must invest in human capital. Our mission in the W. P. Carey China Programs is to cultivate world-class executives for China’s state-owned enterprises and advance the Sino-U.S. trade relationship through education.

The W. P. Carey School now offers three degree programs to accelerate China’s pace of global integration, knowledge, and leadership development:

By helping the leaders and their firms succeed, we help the Chinese people succeed, and prosperity in China will be essential for global stability and peace.
