Leading Upward: Mobilizing Your Performance and Career
Leadership is about much more than just managing your team or subordinates.
Effectively leading — or managing up — can have a tremendous impact on both your performance and career.
This half-day workshop will explore ways to manage impressions up the ladder, so you know exactly what your leader expects of you, and can both manage and deliver upon those expectations. You’ll discover strategies to more easily and successfully communicate and interact with your leader, ensuring you’re fully understood and supported as an asset to the organization.
You will gain the skills necessary to:
- Effectively manage upward
- More clearly articulate your points to leadership
- Gain fans within leadership
- Get your fans to sponsor your success
