Business Honors

General Information

Many of the top students in the W. P. Carey School of Business participate in Business Honors. The program is for students who are concurrently enrolled in the W. P. Carey School of Business, a world-renowned business school, and Barrett, The Honors College, a top-ranked honors college.

Business Honors in the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University creates a wonderful blend of a large research university in the PAC 10 and a small, private business school atmosphere.

Business Honors students may take advantage of opportunities such as:

• The Certificate in Honors Business Modeling and Analysis, a certificate designed specifically for Business Honors students
• Access to exclusive degree programs, such as the Business-Engineering Concurrent Degree Program
• Ability to enroll in particular graduate level courses within the business school 
• Honors courses which are taught by the most qualified undergraduate business faculty
• Priority registration,which helps to ensure enrollment in the most appropriate classes
• Undergraduate advisors who are assigned specifically to assist top students from time of enrollment through graduation
• Simultaneous enrollment in Barrett, The Honors College, which provides additional resources for honor students in all areas of study
• Frequent occasions to interact and work closely with faculty and community leaders
• Special programs offered through the Business Career Center
• Exclusive scholarship opportunities

Additionally, Business Honors students are exposed to a multitude of leadership and social opportunities including participation on a student advisory board, membership in student organizations, attendance at executive luncheons, and involvement in outreach programs.

Who is eligible to apply?

Students who enter Arizona State University as   W. P. Carey School of Business students and who have also been admitted into Barrett, The Honors College are Business Honors students. There is no separate application process for Business Honors.
