Freshman StudentsBachelor of Science Degrees:Freshman applicants who meet the following criteria are directly admitted to the W. P. Carey School of Business (Bachelor of Science Degree).
*Students who do not meet these requirements may select the Bachelor of Arts in Business Degree or a second major choice outside the W. P. Carey School of Business. Students who do not qualify for direct admission may also follow the W. P. Carey tracking requirements and submit an Admission Portfolio to the W. P. Carey School of Business Undergraduate Programs Office. Your portfolio will be reviewed by the department that you have specified on your application - please note that this is a competitive admissions process and admission is not guaranteed. Portfolio submission deadlines may be viewed at the Admission Portfolio web site. Bachelor of Arts Degrees:Freshman applicants who meet the following criteria are directly admitted to the W. P. Carey School of Business (Bachelor of Arts in Business Degree) program.
Note: All freshmen must submit either a SAT (math + critical reading sections only) or an ACT composite test score (we do not require the writing portion of these tests) by the end of their first semester at ASU. There is no minimum test score requirement for the Bachelor of Arts Degree options. W. P. Carey Academy (formerly Carey Direct)Business freshmen with the highest qualifications will be offered direct admission to the W. P. Carey Academy. The Academy provides students enhanced opportunities for scholarships, additional options within the curriculum, as well as targeted programs through the Business Career Center. The average High School GPA & test scores for the 203 freshmen (of which 121 were Honors students) entering the W. P. Carey Academy in Fall 2007 are as follows:
