Business Honors

Business Honors is a program within the W. P. Carey Academy for students who are concurrently enrolled in the W. P. Carey School of Business, a world-renowned business school, and Barrett, The Honors College, a top-ranked honors college.  Many of the top students in the W. P. Carey School of Business participate in Business Honors and automatically take advantage of the many benefits offered by the W. P. Carey Academy as well as many academic opportunities exclusively designed for Business Honors students.
In addition to the resources, opportunities and programming available to the students of the W. P. Carey Academy, Business Honors students also have access to the following opportunities:

• The Certificate in Honors Business Modeling and Analysis, a certificate designed specifically for Business Honors students
• Ability to enroll in particular graduate level courses within the business school
• Honors courses which are taught by the most qualified undergraduate business faculty
• Priority registration, which helps to ensure enrollment in the most appropriate classes
• Simultaneous enrollment in Barrett, The Honors College, which provides additional resources for honor students in all areas of study
• Exclusive scholarship opportunities

Who is eligible for Business Honors?

Students who are admitted to the W. P. Carey School of Business students and who have also been admitted into Barrett, The Honors College are Business Honors students. All Business Honors students are admitted to the W. P. Carey Academy. There is no separate application process for Business Honors/W. P. Carey Academy.
