Application procedures: - Students who have been admitted into a W. P. Carey Bachelor of Science major must apply and be accepted for a concurrent degree (either in the B.S. or B.A. programs) prior to beginning course work on the concurrent degree. The concurrent degree application is available at the beginning of each academic semester. Please visit the Admission Portfolio web site to access the concurrent degree application.
- Students who want to pursue concurrent degrees (e.g. Psychology and Finance) from different colleges must petition each college for approval.
- Students who have already been admitted to a W. P. Carey Bachelor of Arts degree and want to add a second concentration area (within the B.A. in Business program) to their degree program must complete a dual concentration application.
- Non-W. P. Carey students looking to switch out of their current major and into a concurrent degree program within the W. P. Carey School of Business are able to submit both the admission portfolio and concurrent degree (or dual concentration) application in the same application cycle. However, please note that if you are not admitted to W. P. Carey via the admission portfolio, your concurrent degree (or dual concentration) application will be voided.
*Please note that the W. P. Carey Bachelor of Arts dual concentration application will not be available until the August 2008 Admission Portfolio cycle. Awarding Diplomas - Concurrent degree students will receive two separate diplomas upon completion of their degree programs.
- Dual concentration students will receive one diploma with the two concentrations listed upon completion of their degree programs.
