October 13, 2009 marks the first competition date of ASU’s 2009 Academic Bowl, the fourth-annual undergraduate academic competition. Teams from 16 colleges across four campuses will compete for the championship title, the trophy cup, and $4500 scholarships.
In 2006, the W. P. Carey School of Business team earned 2nd place in the Academic Bowl competition after a very close championship round against the Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering. The 2007 and 2008 teams finished in the final four.
The 2009 ASU Academic Bowl Competition will take place throughout the week of October 12. Competition dates are:
October 13, Opening Rounds 4:00 p. m., Memorial Union, Pima Room
October 14, Continuing Rounds, 4:00 pm, Memorial Union, Pima Room
October 15, Semi-Finals and Finals, 4:00 pm, Memorial Union, Pima Room
