Employment Success of Graduates
W. P. Carey School of Business graduates and interns are highly sought after by regional as well as national and international corporations. Because of the caliber of the students, over 400 companies recruit business students annually for internships and full time positions.
The vibrant Phoenix economy is itself yet another advantage, offering students far more internships, part-time and/or pre-professional jobs than are available in other locations. Many students are already employed in the jobs they plan to keep even before they graduate.
Graduates in May, August and December 2006 reported almost 200 salaries in the employment survey conducted prior to graduations. The mean base salary for graduates was $45,484. The organizations hiring the largest number of students in 2005 and 2006 were:
