Management Major Requirements

For information about the optional concentration in Entrepreneurship for Management Majors, click here.

The Management major should have a strong emphasis on collaboration, leadership, communication, team building, and major group projects with the community in not-for-profit and for-profit business settings. The newly revised curriculum begins with the global supply operations course—an immersion in the fundamentals of the global economy, the world of e-business, and collaborative teams. Students are encouraged to concurrently enroll in the introductory courses on collaborative team skills and managing people in organizations during their first semester. Throughout the program, understanding of theory and concepts of management are enhanced by experiencing and testing these concepts in skill-based exercises, case discussions, and team-based project work in the classroom and in the community.

As part of the W. P. Carey community, you have access to a comprehensive advising program that will help you get on the right track to graduation.  Use your Major Mapnew window to see your major's critical requirements, what courses you need, and when you should take them.

If your catalog is  2006-2007 or earlier, Curriculum Check Sheetsnew window are available for tracking your degree requirements.

Graduation Requirements

Students in a W. P. Carey degree program must complete a Declaration of Graduation prior to completing 87 semester hours. Failure to do so results in being prevented from further registration. The process of completing these documents helps you to select the right courses to complete graduation requirements for your degree.  Please consult an academic advisor if you have questions or need assistance in completing this critical process.

If you are an ASU Athlete, please contact Maria Chomina.
