Fall 2009 Graduation Filing Deadline: October 15, 2009
Students must file for graduation in the Graduation Office (SSV 1st Floor) by October 15th in order for their name to appear in the Commencement Program ($50 filing fee and $25 for each additional concurrent degree).
W. P. Carey School of Business Undergraduate Convocation
Fall 2009 Convocation: Thursday, December 17, 2009, 12:30 PM, Wells Fargo Arena (WFA)
The purpose of the convocation is to honor the graduating students. Each student will be recognized by name as he/she walks on stage and shakes hands with the Dean and Department Chair. Only those students who file for the December 17th graduation by the October 15th deadline will be included in the University Commencement Program book. All W. P. Carey graduation candidates who file for graduation by the deadline will receive an email from the Graduation Office with instructions on how to R.S.V.P. on your My ASU page.
University Commencement
Fall 2009: Thursday December 17th, 2009, 9:00 AM, Wells Fargo Arena.
Commencement is the official ceremony for graduates. All graduates are encouraged to attend this ceremony. Graduates should plan to arrive by 8:00 AM. Commencement lasts 90 minutes. You may purchase graduation supplies and announcements at the ASU Bookstore.
Graduation With Academic Recognition
Undergraduate students must have completed at least 56 semester hours of resident credit at ASU to qualify for graduation with academic recognition for a baccalaureate degree. If you have achieved the required GPA at the conclusion of the semester immediately preceding Commencement, you will have earned the right to wear Honor Cords at the ceremonies. Barrett, The Honors College Graduates
Barrett, The Honors College
Fall 2009: December 16, 2009, 7:00 PM, Galvin Playhouse
Undergraduate students who have fulfilled the requirements of The Barrett Honors College, including the undergraduate thesis and the minimum 3.25 cumulative GPA, will be recognized accordingly at the BHC Convocation. Honors graduates wear gold medallions in addition to the Honor Cords. Please contact the W. P. Carey Academy Office for more details, (480) 965-8710.

Available at no cost to students and guests in Structure 5, Structure 7 or Lot 59.
Disabled Resources:
Lot 58 (located on the northeast side of the WFA) has been reserved for disabled parking. A current ASU ID or valid driver’s license is required to check-out wheelchairs which are available on a first-come, first-served basis at the WFA.
