On November 20th, 2008, the Arizona Board of Regents' Academic Affairs Committee voted to disestablish the School of Global Management and Leadership on ASU's West campus. The W. P. Carey School of Business now oversees the business education needs of ASU students on both the Tempe and West campuses. The Bachelor of Arts in Business degree program is only available to students who are transitioning out of the School of Global Management and Leadership degrees and will graduate no later than summer 2012.
Undergraduates currently enrolled in the School of Global Management and Leadership:
If you are enrolled as an SGML undergraduate, you can complete your chosen program if you will graduate no later than summer 2010,
OR
You can enroll in the W. P. Carey Bachelor of Arts in Business degree program with a concentration in global leadership if you will graduate no later than summer 2012.
Undergraduate students applying for fall 2009 or later:
The Bachelor of Arts concentration in Global Leadership is a temporary concentration. If you are applying for undergraduate admission for fall 2009 or later, you can select any of the W. P. Carey Bachelor of Science degree programs or Bachelor of Arts concentrations (except global leadership) for which you qualify.
Transfer Students and ATP Coursework
If you are in the Global Business ATP you can use all of your ATP coursework toward the W. P. Carey B.A. in Business with a global leadership concentration if you are admitted and can complete the program by summer 2012. We will continue to accept transfers who complete the Global Business ATP into the global leadership B.A. concentration if they can complete the program by summer 2012.
