Faculty Mentors
W. P. Carey School of Business faculty are ranked in the top 10% nationally for the quality of their research. With nearly 200 faculty members, undergraduate students have access to relevant and cutting-edge information in all areas of business both inside and outside of the classroom.
Forming relationships with faculty is an invaluable part of the undergraduate experience. W. P. Carey Academy encourages and fosters student-faculty relationships and offers opportunities to connect with W. P. Carey Academy Faculty Mentors, as well as other business school faculty, from each major throughout the academic year.
W. P. Carey Academy Faculty Mentors are selected to participate in the Academy program because of their excellence in teaching and involvement in the undergraduate program. These faculty mentors help students get to know other faculty within their departments, offer insight into career paths and options, offer advice on research opportunities, and more. Additionally, for Business Honors students, the faculty mentor serves as a resource for direction of the thesis project and development of the thesis committee.
