A Minor in Business is available to students across the University who have an interest in business courses but wish to pursue majors in other colleges. The courses available for the minor are designed to appeal to and inform the non-business student while covering a broad range of topics important to modern managers.

Requirements
Students must complete the 36 credit hours of the specified business courses with a grade of "C" or better in each course. 6 credit hours of the 12 upper division credit hours required must be resident credit.
Eligibility
The upper division courses specified for the minor will be restricted to students with 56 earned credit hours, a minimum 2.5 ASU cum. GPA, and course pre-requisite requirements met. Business students are not eligible to apply for the minor.
Application
A student seeking the Business Minor must see an advisor in that student's major in order to add the minor to the student's degree audit (DARS).
NOTE: These new Business Minor requirements are in the process of being programmed into DARS. Be assured that these course requirements will count for 2007-2008 catalog students. If you have taken one of the above approved courses and it is not showing in your DARS audit, or you have transferred courses that you believe are equivalent, please come in person to BA 109 for assistance.
*Old course number ACC 230, if taken Summer 2008 or prior, will substitute for ACC 231.
**Old course number ACC 240 will substitute for ACC 241.
