W. P. Carey Residential Communities at Tempe Campus

Adelphi II
Adelphi II is a cluster of six small buildings that will house W. P. Carey freshmen.  Within the general business community at Adelphi II, the complex will also host two themed communities in which students may choose to live.  One of the six buildings will focus on civic engagement, both in our community and in the business world; another building will be centered on the concept of entrepreneurship.

Barrett Business Community
Students who are concurrently enrolled in the W. P. Carey School and Barrett, The Honors College will be placed on two floors of the Agave Building within the Barrett campus.  In addition to the desirable location within the honors college, these students will benefit from peer programming and activities planned by Barrett, as well as engagement opportunities through W. P. Carey Leaders Academy, and more.

*This community is available only to Barrett Business students

Hassayampa
Located on the south-end of campus, Hassayampa is just a short walk from the W. P. Carey School of Business.   Additionally, students have easy access to tutoring services in the Student Success Center at Hassayampa, as well as the benefit of a dining hall on-site.  Frequent academic, professional, and social programming will help students successfully transition to university life.

Hassayampa East - W. P. Carey Leaders Academy
W. P. Carey Leaders Academy hosts a residential community for students admitted to the Academy (students are admitted to the Academy based on their high school academics and are notified via mail of their admission; there is not an application process for first-year freshmen).  These students are automatically placed in the Leaders Academy community, filling one building of the Hassayampa East complex, in close proximity to the Barrett Business Community and the W. P. Carey residential community at Hassayampa.  The residential community offers students unique networking opportunities, access to faculty, and targeted professional and social programming.

*This community is available only to students admitted to the W. P. Carey Leaders Academy.

Sonora
The W. P. Carey experience at Sonora will include targeted programming to help acclimate students to life as a college student.  The Sonora community will employ residential tutor programmers who offer tutoring during the evenings as well as coordinate academic programming for students.  This will be a strong complement to the social programming organized by the communities student programmers.

W. P. Carey Residential Community at Polytechnic Campus

W. P. Carey freshmen of the Polytechnic Campus live together in a residential community.  The W. P. Carey community is designed to foster academic success as well as personal and professional development.  Living in the residential community allows business students to develop a strong network for success among business students – forming study groups, working on team projects and more.  The residential community is located near many campus resources, including tutoring, dining, and recreation.

W. P. Carey Residential Community at West Campus

The residential community for W. P. Carey freshmen at West Campus is located in Casa de Oro, a brand new, state of the art facility that is opening in fall 2012.  Students living in Casa de Oro will enjoy suite-style units, as well as have access to tutoring and study space, gaming lounges, and a dining hall located within the facility.  Community programming will promote student success through faculty interaction, campus involvement, professional development, and more.
