Transfer Students
In order to be accepted as a W. P. Carey School of Business undergraduate transfer student you must first apply to Arizona State University and select a W. P. Carey business degree program.
If you do not meet the requirements for direct admission to a W. P. Carey degree program, you may submit an Admission Portfolio.
B.S. Degree Requirements
If you are a transfer student applying to the W. P. Carey School of Business Bachelor of Science degree program, you are eligible for direct admission if you have met the ASU transfer student admission requirements and one of the following:
- An SAT (math and critical reading sections only) score of 1160.
- An ACT composite score of 25.
- A high school class ranking in the top 8 percent.
In addition, you must have a 3.0 cumulative ASU GPA (if you have attended ASU), a 3.0 cumulative transfer GPA (if you have attended another institution), and meet grade requirements for all critical tracking courses taken (applicable only if you fall under critical tracking requirements).
B.A. Degree Requirements
If you are a transfer student applying to the W. P. Carey School of Business Bachelor of Arts degree program, you are eligible for direct admission if you have met the following requirements:
- ASU transfer student admission
- A 3.0 cumulative ASU GPA (if you have attended ASU).
- A 3.0 cumulative transfer GPA (if you have attended another institution).
- Minimum grade requirements must be met for all critical tracking courses taken (applicable only if student falls under critical tracking requirements).
Note: All transfer students must submit either an SAT (math and critical reasoning sections only) test score or an ACT composite test score (we do not require the writing portion of these tests) by the end of their first semester at ASU. There is no minimum test score requirement for the Bachelor of Arts degree options.
