Admission Portfolio

If you do not meet the requirements for direct admission into the W. P. Carey School of Business B.S. or B.A. degree programs, you may submit an admission portfolio.  Your portfolio will be reviewed by the department that you have specified on your application - please note that this is a competitive admissions process and admission is not guaranteed.  You must be admitted to ASUnew window prior to submitting the portfolio. Preference will be given to students with at least a 3.0 cumulative ASU GPA and/or transfer GPA.

A complete portfolio includes the following:

  • A completed portfolio resume

  • Official or Unofficial transcripts of all coursework transferred from other institutions.  If you have already submitted transcripts to ASU's Admissions Office, you will still need to submit copies to the W. P. Carey School of Business.  Transcripts must be dropped off to BA 109 by 5pm on the portfolio submission deadline (see below for deadlines).

  • SAT (math and critical reading sections only) and/or ACT composite scores
  • 1-2 letters of recommendation (optional). Applicants are required to fill out the official letter of recommendation form PDF.  This form should be submitted by the applicant in a sealed envelope with the recommender's signature across seal. The applicant's ASU affiliate ID (if available) and name must appear on letter and envelope.  Letters must be postmarked or delivered to either our West (FAB N101) or Tempe (BA 109) office by 5pm on the portfolio submission deadline (see below for deadlines).

Submit to the attention of “Portfolio” in person or by mail to:
