Program Description
More and more, engineers are discovering that success in their careers will require knowledge of business management. The W. P. Carey School of Business and Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering are offering a unique concurrent degree opportunity for well qualified students, a comprehensive blend of both programs that requires completion of 163 total credit hours. Unlike most dual degree or concurrent degree programs, you may designate your preference for the Business and Engineering concurrent degree program upon application to ASU. Upon completion, you will receive two degrees: The Bachelor of Science in Economics and the Bachelor of Science in Engineering Management.

Students majoring in the Economics/Engineering degrees are well positioned for future career mobility into managerial roles that utilize the ability to work with both fields effectively. Possible jobs include, business systems analyst/engineer, engineering management, purchasing management, sales engineer, operations management, supplier quality engineer, software engineer, consultant and financial analyst.
