Business MinorsOne of the reasons the W. P. Carey School of Business is among the highest-ranked business schools in the nation is the availability of choices you have to individualize your degree. In addition to 14 majors to choose from within the Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees, you can add even more depth with a concurrent degree or a minor. Real Estate MinorA minor in real estate delivers an in-depth understanding of the real estate industry to complement your area of study, whether you are pursuing a major in the W. P. Carey School of Business or through another college within ASU. Consisting of a foundation that includes real estate fundamentals, law, appraisal and land development, a minor in real estate instills a competitive base of knowledge for careers in the real estate industry. Business MinorFor non-business majors pursuing degrees in other colleges at ASU, the W. P. Carey School offers a minor in business covering a broad range of topics important to managers. Completion of the business minor requires 36 credit hours of the specified business courses with a grade of "C" or better in each course. Six of the 12 upper division credit hours required must be resident credit. The upper division courses specified for the minor will be restricted to students with 56 earned credit hours, a minimum 2.5 ASU cumulative GPA, and completion of course pre-requisites. Business students are not eligible to apply for the minor. See an advisor in your major to add the business minor to your degree audit (DARS). |
