W. P. Carey Academy

W. P. Carey Academy is a community designed exclusively for premier students enrolled in the W. P. Carey School of Business. Students who meet the requirements of the academy will have the opportunity to interact frequently with similarly talented students and will take advantage of numerous benefits, including:

• Access to top faculty.
• Access to specially designed core business courses at the lower- and upper-division levels.
• Networking opportunities with successful peers, corporate partners and academic leaders.
• Invitations to events sponsored by academic departments.
• Opportunity to participate in academic and co-curricular experiences aimed at preparing for specific career paths, such as the Undergraduate Investment Management Fund and Investment Banking Industry Scholars; Professional Sales and Relationship Management Initiative; and Consulting Scholars.
• Access to exclusive degree programs designed for academically talented students.

Who is Eligible for the W. P. Carey Academy?

W. P. Carey Academy is comprised of top students within the W. P. Carey School of Business, including all business students who are concurrently enrolled in ASU’s Barrett, The Honors College. Students are admitted to the academy as freshmen based on standardized test scores and high school grade point averages. Generally, the top 10 percent of students academically qualify.
