Standard Hardware Configurations

To provide a stable configuration, quick repair completion and to leverage volume purchasing, BIT selects quality models from Dell for individuals and departments to purchase. We offer a choice of four Windows laptops and one desktop preconfigured for optimal use in our environment. These machines are made available under an Institutional Purchase agreement with Dell. These selected computers offered through Dell have been chosen for quality configuration, cost effectiveness, expandability and performance. Computers purchased by other vendors like Lenovo and Apple can only receive non-priority, limited warranty support from BIT.
