Activate your ASURITE ID

Introduction

Your ASURITE ID is your computer login name. When you begin at ASU it is necessary to activate your ASURITE ID so that various computer services can be provided. These instructions will provide the necessary steps to successfully activate your ASURITE ID in preparation to adding services.

After following these instructions and activating your ASURITE ID, you need to review the instructions for Adding Computing Services

Activate

1. Click the link to open a browser to http://www.asu.edu/asurite.

   

2. Enter you ASURITE ID and select next.

   

3. After reviewing ASU's computing and security policy, click next

   

4. Each section of the Activation Form must be completed.

   • In the first section of "Confirm Your Identity", if you don't have the activation code, you can call the UTO help desk at 1-855-278-5080 and another activation code can be provided. (The activation code field only appears when accessing this form a computer not located on an ASU campus.)
   • In the second section titled "E-mail Address", you should select the first option "Have my official ASU e-mail delivered to this address:" and enter a personal email address.
   • Be sure to follow the password requirements in the third section "Choose a Password".
   • In the fourth section, after selecting and answering the four identity questions; click the Next button.
   
   
   
   

5. You should receive green confirmation bars that identify your ASURITE ID has been activated and that your ASU email has been routed to the correct destination address.

6. Having activated your ASURITE ID, you need to add service to your account. Instructions to add additional services are found online at Adding Computing Services
