Blackboard and Instructional Applications
Available to: Graduate Students, Faculty and Staff
BIT’s Instructional Applications group coordinates, manages and maintains applications for the distribution of course content for classroom teaching, as well as for online learning and other initiatives. Key among these is the Blackboard Learning Management System (LMS). We provide a range of instructional support services for W. P. Carey faculty in connection with myASU, the university’s Blackboard system, managed by UTO, and act as the School's advocate to improve university instructional systems and resources.
BIT runs a separate version of Blackboard specifically to support course delivery for the Online MBA Program and Corporate Programs offered by the School’s Center for Executive and Professional Development (CEPD).
We support and advise faculty on creating, enhancing and updating materials and assessments for traditional classroom, online and hybrid course formats. Additionally, BIT supports applications for recording lectures and presentations, group collaboration software, and web conferencing applications, as well as researching and consulting on new technologies.
To request Blackboard course set-up, please complete the Blackboard Course Request Form via the link above, or under MySchool tools. Other consultative services can be requested by contacting the Technical Assistance Center.
